A design for Shockwave for a possible sequel of 2007's Transformers by Michael Bay - It was my goal to combine G1 and the current look of the movie bots and hopefully please both fans of the old and fans of the new aesthetics.

A tutorial on how I did the dirt and scratches will be uploaded shortly. I hope you like it!

It's dedicated to Corey Burton because Corey rules.

Great job. Really captures the simplistic look of ol' Shocky while maintaining the movie aesthetic

He looks freaking evil, man! Damn. I heard he and Soundwave are suppose to be in the next movie, along with Arcee fr the Autobots. Man, I wonder what Shockwave's transformation will be? God I want to see the first movie and the second one already, damn it!

I hope that they won't mess Shockers up in the sequel; hence I even made these two sketches. I'd love the guys who work on the next movie see these and maybe make the director realize that these two guys can look a lot like did, at least their heads.

I can't wait for the movie either, I've followed it since 3 frikkin years.

i think from what I've seen the game design stays way closer to Shocker's original design. And it works just fine actually, no need to change Shockers at all.
